Imagin’Action 2016 has a winner
Raquel Arroyo-Rodríguez, from Dep. Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Complutense University of Madrid has won the first “IMAGIN’ACTION” image contest of SBE. Congratulations!
The image is entitled “Doggy PC. From animals to Biophysics, going through lipids”, by Raquel Arroyo Rodríguez (Universidad Complutense de Madrid – UCM), and it has been composed by combining different colouring modes of an AFM image of phosphatidyl choline bilayers supported over mica. The image will be displayed in the main hall at the location of the 5th SBE/ SPBf meeting (Porto June 15th-17th 2016). The prize consist on a free inscription to the meeting plus a sum of money to cover € 250 travel expenses.
