Postdoctoral position in 3D nuclear organization

Applications are opened for a postdoctoral position at the Spatio-Temporal Organization of the Nucleus laboratory, at the FIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology – IFOM, Milan (Italy)

The lab is studying if and how physical external cues that affect cell morphology have an influence in the three-dimensional organization of the nucleus. IFOM is a research institute, hosting more than 20 research teams, which create an international, stimulating and collaborative environment. The institute provides state of the art core facilities for imaging, proteomics and genomics.

Required qualifications and experience

High level of independence holding a PhD degree in biophysics or cellular biology. Proficiency with basic experimental cell biology procedures is essential. Previous experience in microfabrication and microfluidics will be considered as an advantage.
