Postdoc position on cellular membrane biology and biotechnology
The Endocytic Trafficking and Intracellular Delivery team in the the Chemical Biology Department of the Institut Curie in Paris (France) is recruiting a post-doctoral researcher on an ERC-funded position.
Based on our recent discoveries on galectin-driven endocytosis (Nat. Cell Biol. 16:595-606) and DNA-nanodevices for molecular imaging (Nat. Nanotechnol. 11:1112-1119), you would analyze endocytic events with unmatched precision using some of the most powerful techniques in modern cell biology: quantitative live cell imaging on a newly acquired lattice light sheet microscope in combination with lipidomics and proteomics on purified uptake carriers.
Required qualifications and experience
- Strong experience in cellular biochemistry and/or advanced light microscopy
- High degree of motivation and excellent interpersonal and communication skills to operate in an interdisciplinary environment between different teams
How to apply
Position is available mid-2017. Applicants should send a motivation letter, CV, and contact information of atleast two references to: ludger.johannes@curie.fr.
