FPI fellowship
4 year PhD fellowship (FPI, funded by Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness) is available in the group of Membrane Nanomechanics (Biophysics Unit, University of the Basque country) at Bilbao (Spain), lead by Dr. Vadim Frolov.
We are looking for a highly motivated person dedicated to research with the background either in biophysics/soft matter physics or molecular biology. Good english skills and lab experience are desirable.
The prospective candidate is expected to participate in international collaborative projects focused on membrane remodeling by dynamin proteins (Shnyrova et. al, Science, 2013; Matilla et al., Nature 2015). The PhD project will involve extensive scientific networking and international traveling.
