Quantitative interactome of a membrane Bcl-2 network identifies a hierarchy of complexes for apoptosis regulation. Nat Commun. 2017 Jul 13;8(1):73. doi: 10.1038/s41467-017-00086-6.
Quantitative interactome of a membrane Bcl-2 network identifies a hierarchy of complexes for apoptosis regulation. Mitochondrial permeabilization and apoptosis are regulated by Bcl-2 protein interactions. Using fluorescence cross-correlation spectroscopy the interplay between cBid, Bax, and Bcl xL was studied in solution and membranes and the preference for association partners exploited.
